Our dear friend Ashley Patton Bratton ( I can't resist the Patton-Bratton rhyme) hired us to play for their fundraiser. Now we love Ashley...we're not so crazy about her husband Rufus (just kidding!).
We did Ashley's wedding a while back and she has recommended us for several jobs. We're probably going to have to put her on the payroll!

The beautiful Oakbrook Golf Club in Summerville was the spot for the Rotary Club's annual fundraiser. And the crowd braved the rain for some great oysters, killer chilli and catfish stew as well as some good shaggin and line dancin.'

This is the third year in a row we've done this party and it's a good thing-bad thing that this party is such a well kept secret. Tammy Faust and Chuck Diggle do a great job and it is a fun Thursday evening. There is allways a good dancin crowd and we have a blast doing it.

Ashley and Kevin had a great reception at Allhambra Hall in Mt Pleasant. Now this was a dancin' crowd! Not that we notice such things....and the size of our waistlines confirm this....some of the best food we've ever eaten. Was a good time!

So, a few hours sleep and off to do the Sunday show at the Strawberry Festival.
The festival is fast becomming one of the major attractions of the Lowcountry Spring. The crowd was large and very nice to us.

Catherine and Chris had their reception at The Olde Exchange Building. The building is a national landmark, and a major pain to get in and out of. But a great crowd and a good time (and Cahterine's uber hot Mom) made it all worthwile.
They say if you wanna know what your wife will look like, look at her Mother. Chris has FAR outkicked his coverage......
Kelli and Chris are Winthrop grads....I believe that's correct...and Kelli is a Klimpsun fan while Chris supports a real ....as in THE University. Kelli suprised him with haveing Cocky drop in on the reception. This is all- usses.

We had a heck of a time getting there (flat tires, detours and the downtown crawl) and it took feats of superhuman strength but we made it and were sure glad we did.
We played a parents weekend dance for Linsdey's sorrority at Klempsun a few years ago.

This was a trade out we did for Clear Channel. It started out as a High school reunion on Gold Bug Island and ended up being Ed's birthday party at Abe's Oyster House. Whatever. It was a LARGE time!
BTW, on the TV in the background are the Gamecocks in Omaha sending the Kitty Katz back to the barn.

We were invited by the good folks at The Wild Wing and Ear 4 Music to be a part of the 20th anniveresary of the original Cafe' in Hilton Head. It was hot, but the people were very appreciative and we all passed a good time, cold beer and hot wings!
