Well, yes and no.........
Almost 5 years ago I went to my 30th high school reunion (yes.....I'm old!).
Playing there was a well known beach band (I won't embarass them, but you've heard of them fantastic shakers). Being a musician, I was watching closely and I noticed the horn players switching mid-song between their horns and keyboards. When I looked closer I realized they had no bassist. They were playing along with pre-recorded tracks.
During the break I introduced myself and asked for one of their hits. They told me it would be up not this set but the next. Being the devil I am, I had my wife go ask one of them if they could play more slow songs. He gave my wife the runaround about them being who they were and they knew what the audience wanted.
What they were really saying was, we work with pre-recorded music and can't/won't change for you. Pity really, because they were being paid well. We have hits on the charts and would have done it for a lot less, but I don't live there any more and don't get to have input on those decisions.
Maybe we'll get a chance at the next one...............
It was then and there the philosophy of The Coppertones was born.
Here's what we believe and what we promise you;

3 We aren't The Stones; we're The Tones. There is a slight difference.
4 We wont show up with a truck full of equipment, unless it's needed for the size of your event.
5 It's not about us....it's about your day being perfect.
6 We aren't your guests...we're you employees; hired to entertain your guests.
7 We never forget why we are there and who hired us.
8 Meeting your needs and requests is not an inconvience to us, it's why you hired us.
We want your event to be perfect. Even if it means hiring someone else (we hope you don't, but we realize we can't be everything to everyone). Give us the opportunity to quote your function.
